I'm a Licensed Mental Health Professional with over twenty years in both macro experience, leading successful therapeutic programs and advising on crisis management techniques within local agencies across the Commonwealth; and clinical experience specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety,and multicultural issues. I work to ensure that resources to clients are accessible and that clients feel supported while navigating the journey to healing. Therapy works when we work together to identify and reach your goals. I utilize therapy techniques that allow clients to receive treatment for mental health conditions, heal from trauma, navigate conflicts, improve their relationships, or just have a safe, neutral space to talk about life. Clients can expect a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, empathetic, and safe.During my career, I’ve also led efforts to drive matters of diversity, inclusion, and equity in therapeutic spaces to the forefront of Virginia’s mental health landscape. In addition to the services I provide to clients and the community, I’m also a Board approved Clinical Supervisor which affords me the opportunity to provide clinical guidance and coaching to mental health professionals who desire to gain the knowledge and skills required to become effective licensed professional counselors.I hold a B.S degree in Behavioral Science from Bluefield College, an M.A degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from Liberty University, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor endorsed by Virginia’s Board of Counseling. At Hope River Counseling and Consulting, LLC, I provide therapeutic support to people who are feeling overwhelmed or experiencing dissatisfaction in their life for varying reasons. I provide individual therapy to older teens (ages 14-17), adults (ages 18-64), and senior adults (ages 65+). Clinical Supervision is a crucial and exciting part of the process for mental health clinicians to achieve state licensure. Supervision can help clinicians increase their skills, confidence, and self-esteem, as well as collaborate and problem solve in regards to cases that can sometimes be challenging to progress forward. At Hope River Counseling and Consulting, LLC, I am able to provide clinical supervision that encourages both professional and personal growth, decreases compassion fatigue, and promotes positive self-care.Supervision can be scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis and all LPC residents will be provided with documentation of supervision hours to include individual and group supervision hours.RATES:
Clinical supervision rate is $75 per hour for LPC supervision. Emails and phone consults are complementary as necessary.Clinical supervision for agencies seeking to support employees through their licensing journey is also available. Please contact me directly for additional information and rates.
